What Are Absolutes
Absolutes are more volatile than essential oils. They are highly concentrated forms of aromatic liquids that are the product of plants by way of extraction. During the distillation process of these plants, chemical solvents are removed, yielding a more concentrated solution.
In those instances where dilation does not yield enough natural oil, the solvent solution becomes a viable choice. Again, this formula has a higher level of concentration and in essence is more potent than the essential oil itself.
